Founded in 2008, Vija Product specializes in the production, trade, storage and distribution of fruits and vegetables. In 2015, the company started developing its own modern apple orchards, with a target of 250 ha over the next 3-5 years. In 2018, the company raised 80 ha of apple orchards, with full production expect in 2020. Apple varieties include Gala, Fuji, Golden and Red Delicious, Granny Smith, Jonagored, Jonaprince, Idared and Mutsu. Additionally, since 2017, Vija Product has managed 10 ha of strawberry fields, with an additional 10 ha planned in 2020.
The company’s modern ULO cold storage facility, with 5000 t capacity, uses high-level quality control technology and is equipped with a sorting and packaging machine (100 tons/day), enabling extended delivery capacity from August to June of the following year. The cold storage facility is HACCP and ISO 9001 certified.
